Be on the ground floor of the success of Dancing Classrooms! There is still time to donate in 2010 and get a year-end tax deduction. Or maybe it is easier for you to sign-up for small monthly donations and contribute a little bit each month.

 

Can you to help with a gift in the range of $500 to $1000? It costs $115 to sponsor one 5th grade student for twenty 45-minute lessons. Below are the beginning costs for our program:

 

$ 3,000 to sponsor one 5th grade classroom of 30 students for 20 lessons

$ 1,500 to sponsor one-half of a 5th grade classroom

$ 2,500 to train one teacher

$    100 classroom boom box

$ 1,000 for laptop and printer

$    500 filing cabinet and bookshelf

$    550 website

$    250 brochures

$    400 Mad Hot Ballroom DVD’s (50)

 

Bringing this program to Monterey County, the only Dancing Classrooms in California, will give our youth a sense of self-respect, pride, elegance and confidence while having a positive impact on the national problem of childhood obesity.
